Automated Annual Report

Step 1: Getting Started
Access Companio and go to the Annual Reports Section. There, you can check and fulfill the prerequisites (to make sure we are ready to begin your next annual report).
Be sure to check that all prerequisites are marked as “done” and take appropriate action for those marked as “pending” (e.g. uploading pending invoices or bank statements). Once everything looks okay, you can move on to the next step.
Step 2: Reviewing & Making Decisions
During the preparation of your annual report, Companio generates two documents for you to review: the statement of financial position and the statement of profit and loss. These show the results of the financial year.
If your company earned a profit, you’ll need to indicate whether you want to distribute dividends and – if so – how much. If your business experienced losses, our system offers three possible solutions to prevent a bankruptcy scenario:
- declaring certain expenses as intangible assets
- waiving a personal loan (if applicable) previously granted to the business
- increasing the share capital to cover the loss
For each one of these cases, you’ll need to sign and upload a document to be included in the report. Don’t worry: We have templates and instructions for each alternative – and our customer service team will help you every step of the way.
Step 3: Submit Your Report
Companio will automatically generate your annual report and our accounting team will audit it to ensure that everything is correct. Then it’s your turn: Download it, review it, and let us know if it’s ok.
We’ll upload it to the e-Business Registry and ask you to sign and submit it online. Click, click, click, done!
