Senior Accountant

At least five years of experience with Estonian accounting practices and Estonia tax-related operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field.
• Professional in the English, Estonian and Russian languages.

• Accounting operations, including VAT and VIES reports, Social Taxes, Statistics, and OSS/IOSS reports.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information, summarize current financial status by collecting information.
• Prepare balance sheets, profit, loss statements, and other related reports.
• Assist with billing questions regarding indirect tax or other related subjects.
• Review the accountancy reports and declarations done by the accountancy department and audit process cooperation.
• Support accounting month-close process and audits.
• Support the finance team with additional tasks and work on accounting projects as assigned.
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
• Obtaining a VAT number for companies in the tax office and registering companies in a particular OSS and IOSS scheme.
• Submit statistical reports to Estonian bank and Statistics Estonia.
