Finance Manager

We are looking for a reliable Financial Manager that will analyze everyday financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans. The goal is to enable the company’s leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company’s objectives.

Executive-level operational experience : at least 7 years

Qualifications
  • BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Professional in the English language.
  • Professional in the Estonian and Russian languages will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and organize the financial department and its team of people to ensure its correct function.
  • Motivate the team and keep an eye on the workload, requests of the team, and the new needs of our customers.
  • Provide tools and information to upper management for improvement and optimization of procedures, processes of the financial department, and its automation.
  • Serve as the connection between the financial and the IT department to modernize and automate the financial services (accounting, reporting, compliance) and increase the company’s scalability by reducing the dependency on human resources and manual processes.
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.

  • Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
  • Maintain the financial health of the organization.
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s performance compared to the business plan.
  • Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Oversee operations, set goals, and design a framework for these to be met in the finance department.
  • Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
  • Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths.
Skills
  • Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as a financial analyst.
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
  • Proficient user of finance software.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are used.
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
